So, what is cyber craps and have you ever heard of it? To understand what the whole term means one needs to first comprehend the correct meaning of the term 'cyber'. It's very strange how words can be misused in the English language without the average person noticing. Take the term 'wicked' for instance; several years ago you would have only used this word to describe someone that's evil by nature and in practice or something that is highly offensive or obnoxious. Today, many people use it to describe something that's strikingly good or someone who's very skilful or just simply amazing. This is just an example of how language changes over time and how different definitions of one word are widely accepted.

The term cyber has been used anywhere and everywhere with the wrong definitions, which is a result of information degradation. Many people believe that cybernetics (study of a system's command processes) has to do with building things such as cyborgs, which is an electronically controlled organism; however, this field is actually called bionics. So, what was to be used to define a controllable organism became a definition of computerized organism, changing the whole meaning of the term cyber. It didn't take long for the 'new' meaning to spread and so you have cyberdogs, cyber-cafés, and cyber-clubs all describing computer related things. We all think of cyberspace as the internet and that's probably the only thing that's actually correct. The reason is that the term was invented to describe virtual space, where you have full control over everything. Although you don't have 'full' control over the internet, you do to some degree by building websites, advertising or even just browsing.

Ok, let's get back on track. You want to know more about cyber craps, but is there such a thing? When using the correct definition of the word, you would be implying that craps could in fact be controlled; however, we all know that can't be done, right? Craps is a game of chance, which means you can't control the outcome or even as much as predict it. So, to make sense of the term cyber craps, we'd have to think of it as an internet-based game or in other words - online craps. Yes, it took all that explaining to get to one little point, but I bet most of you weren't aware of these facts!
